The Selerant team had a great time at IFT18! We were happy to see many faces stop by our booth. We enjoyed showcasing our formula-based PLM solution and talking about our favorite eats on the show floor. IFT18 had a huge turnout this year, and in addition to leading global food and beverage brands, we saw plenty of innovation in new food technologies, consumer trends and food safety advancements.

Dennis Dimick, a former National Geographic editor, led a session titled “The Human Age: Confronting the Innovation Conundrum,” complete with a beautiful visual presentation on the impact of innovation on the environment. His insights also included actions to minimize the toll that progress has taken on the environment.

More chickpeas! We all want to know what’s hot in food trends, and Mintel delivered the goods. Check out IFT’s recap of Mintel’s presentation on new and unusual food and beverage products from around the world. 

Selerant unveiled our own news – a new global identity to reflect our expansion and innovation in formula-based PLM. We’ve been helping companies take products from idea to label for nearly 30 years. Check out the story of us and our new brand!
